Our selection of attorneys is the product of several types of extensive research. We begin by listening to your concerns, answering your questions and explaining how our practice works. We also will look to identify any special needs or requests you may have, such as the need for a bilingual attorney.
Next we evaluate your case and identify the fields of law that are implicated so we can determine what type of attorney will best serve your case. For example, some injury attorneys represent mostly medical malpractice cases, while others handle mostly serious auto accidents. While both attorneys may accept any type of legal matter, each attorney would best serve a client whose case matches the attorney’s experience. TPF will make sure the attorney we recommend is particularly suited to your case.
From there, we search our confidential database and compose a short list of exceptional and experienced attorneys who practice in the necessary field, are in your area, and are able to meet any special needs you may have. We only select our candidate attorneys based on their experience, reputation and track record of success. We are not an attorney referral service or an advertisement for a group of attorneys - membership to our list is not for sale and cannot be purchased. We only choose attorneys based on their credentials. Attorneys don’t choose us – we choose them.
Next we may contact our confidential sources in your local legal community to confirm the attorney’s reputation is first rate. These sources and their contacts include partners in nationally recognized law firms and insiders at insurance companies. We also research professional publications for reviews of law firms and attorneys. We even keep track of which attorneys are getting the largest awards and settlements for their clients. With this information, we perform an additional screening of our short list of candidate attorneys, eliminating all but the best.
If a candidate attorney meets our requirements we will contact them for an initial interview. Our interview may include questions about their practice, education, experience, and membership to professional associations. If we approve of their responses, we will ask if they are interested in taking your case.
Once we find the attorney we believe is best for your needs, we will contact you to recommend the attorney and request your permission to schedule an initial consultation. We can usually find the right attorney within 48 hours. If you are pleased with the attorney you may retain them to act as your lead attorney. If you would prefer a different attorney we will conduct additional searches until you are satisfied.
Once you have selected a lead attorney, you will work with them directly from that point on, however, TPF will always remain by your side to answer any questions you may have and will make sure you are kept informed about the progress of your case. We will consult with the attorney on an ongoing basis and monitor his or her performance to be sure your interests are being properly handled and well represented. At all times, until the very end, we remain available to you to answer any questions or address any concerns which you may have. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the attorney's performance, we will be on your side to make sure any problems are resolved so that you are satisfied.
In sum, by retaining TPF you get two teams of attorneys for the price of one! Best of all, our services won’t cost you even a dollar extra. Our fees are paid by the lead attorney you select on the condition that our fees are absolutely never passed on to the client.
